300 little shiny fish
the next exhibition in our tiny gallery space -and probably the last of this year- is an installation by local ceramicist iona calvert. we like to surprise with our exhibitions at electric angel and didn’t want to give too much away with the publicity, hence charlotte and i found ourselves down by the harbour last week creating fish skin lettering for the invites. the title should give you a clue as to what to expect though – it’s going to be rather special albeit another technical challenge for our gallery space. but if it was easy it’d be no fun would it?
the preview is this friday 7-9pm, we’ve timed it so you can visit the ‘making a mark’ preview at scarborough art gallery first which opens at 5. there’s so many exhibition previews in scarborough these days that double-headers are becoming the norm. please do pop along.
